There isn’t a lot of the stuff on the East side of the city other than GT. I’d consider going to Modern Golf or TXG. If you go up to MG Vaughan Mills, you can likely find something to grab in the area to help justify the trip.

Went there. He tried but can't do it as he does not have the correct fixture

Not kidding on this - I just step on the head of my Ping nome and gently bend as required- putters still going strong after many years

I once bent a putter myself by smashing it hard against the cart path. When I found it hadn't bent enough, I tried a stout looking oak tree. That one did it. Definitely sat a bit out of spec after that.

Must have been one gawd-awful, terribly missed putt. Good thing there was not a pond nearby.

Fortunately there are no rules limiting the number of golf balls you can carry during a match!

It was a gawd-awful terrible putter and it deserved everything it got.

I'd say there is definitely experience and artistry into putter bending, due to the various styles and shapes of necks / hosels and shafts.

Last winter I borrowed a putter bending fixture and a couple different shaped bending bars from a local club-builder. I wanted to adjust my TM Ghost Spider mallet where the shaft was a bit bent and twisted, and also a friend's older Mizuno / Bettinardi which was both bent and twisted in the neck. My god was this way more time and effort than I ever expected. Eventually I got my TM setup fine, but I could not get the Mizuno to my satisfaction, though it was certainly better than when it was given to me. In a nutshell, with the bending bars it is difficult to bend something in 1 plane without altering something else. You almost need multiple vises working together.

That is the only smart call on this issue.
