I don’t think so. There are strong opinions on both sides as to how the Board has handled this, but hard as it is to believe, most BH members are there to play golf. A moratorium on offers will be welcomed by many.

I know we have other Beacon members on the board ( have played there with one and HAG above) who have been quiet on the issue. Maybe at some point they will chime in.
Living 3km from the course almost 30 years I know a fair number of members , while I haven't discussed the issue with any, the only ones who IMO would want/need to sell are the few who bought in most recently on the speculation of the sale. The others don't need the $. One friend is a member there, at the National, Port Carling and also at a private in Scottsdale"Don't cry because it's over, Smile because it happened "

A few points on the status of Beacon Hall and why it did not sell.
As reported there were more members voting no than the last vote. I heard from a few members that the big issue appears to be the purchase price. Land values have increased over the past 4 years, there are many new developments near the club including 3 just south of it and one just to the north so developers can see exactly how much houses have jumped and yet the purchase price is almost the same as the offer 4 years ago which was rejected on price.
There is also a belief that the land along Yonge street is worth substantially more than what was calculated in a plan due to the density potential of low rise condos.
This information is from a letter that was circulated to some members.
The board seems to be doing a good job navigating the interests of both the sell group and don't sell group so they are not getting voted out.
The club has a number of capital improvements in progress including changes to the greens, bunkers and patio area. The club has not lost key staff during this process and in fact attracted a top pro and chef in the past 2 years.
