I'm sure it was.....and I also like Southbrook....but I also really like Brant Valley too

Homestead at Wolf Ridge in Killaloe. A nice cottage course with lots of elevation changes, interesting hole layouts, and good prices. I play there in the summer when I’m staying at my in-laws’ cottage on Round Lake.

used to play Scenic till we found Southbrook just down the road, and it's much better.

I guess you could put River Edge on there, place is a ghost town most of the time and is a great 9 holes

Bancroft - very nice 9 hole, which starts out wide open and flat, but gets tighter and more undulating as you progress through the course. They actually have 2 sets of tees to make the 2nd time though a little different.

Port Hope - have not been there since 2004 but really enjoyed it.

Whispering Ridge - Many of us know Lakeridge in Whitby, but not many talk about its little brother. Good challenge for an executive length course.

Osprey Valley - Surprised now one around here says much about it.

Glen Cedars - back in the day it was a really nice mature course

Years ago I might have included Glen Cedars, back when it was 'out in the country'.

And in the 1990s' I would have certainly included Oak Ridge. It was well maintained, scenic, rarely crowded and cost much less than many other courses such as Thunderbird/Royal Ashburn.
