  • Scarboro Golf & Country Club VS. Weston Golf & Country Club

    Hi All,

I'm considering getting a membership at either of these courses and was wondering whether any current/former members can speak to which one they would join?

I'm mainly interested in the practice facilities and the courses.

    Any thoughts would be appreciated!!

Have you considered Cedar Brae Golf?
They have a great intermediate category program, a full length practice facility and a great course layout.
I would definitely give it some consideration as well.

The distance you are to each course should be a factor.

I’ve played both a number of times. Weston would get my vote every day of the week. Scarboro’s clubhouse is historic, but the course is not nearly as good as Weston.

Thanks to all that provided their thoughts.

Having toured both facilities, I went with Scarboro based on better outdoor practice facilities (full grass range, fairway bunkers, putting greens, pitching/chipping green).

The most intriguing thing about Weston in my opinion was their new indoor facility which includes a full size practice green.
