Having recently played 54 holes at FireRock and forgot how solid a track it is.....and played 36 at Forest City National about 3 weeks ago - one of my favourite courses in SW Ontario (play it every year)....I've also played Tarandowah a few times, not my fave

I likely can't get access to any of the 'Private' tracks - though I would graciously accept an invite

.....can some of the 'locals' chime in with 'other' courses that are 'must plays' in the area

Pretty sure shooter played St Thomas a few years ago. I'd say outside of a few private courses you have played the must play courses around here. For public courses Firerock Forest City and Tarandowah would be the top 3 imo. Nothing else worth the drive.

I believe that STGCC is having a public day on October 10th. You can phone and book your tee time.

Drove by The Oaks. Looked amazing. Private but 12km from FireRock iirc.

Not exactly in the London area, but as a Londoner, I always make sure to get out to Otter Creek 3-4 times a year as the drive isn't that bad.

If you're coming from the GTA you can always give Innerkip Highlands a look. A bit closer and in pretty good shape generally. The island green is a fun hole although I find the back nine a bit uninspired.

This is the first time since they opened, that I haven't played Otter Creek -- love that track
