  • Best Kept Secret golf course in the GTA

Hi Everyone, looking to hear from you on some "Hidden Gem" public play golf courses within the GTA. I think i have researched them all but wanted to know which course you believe is the best value for your money. For example, my top pick is Silver Lakes just outside of Newmarket. Around $80 plus cart and is a very nice design. Bond Head (Clublink Public Play) is also another good one. Let me know what you think!!!

Value for money in golf, not something the GTA is known for! Dragon's Fire comes to mind as a fairly decent course that has had fairly reasonable rates the past couple of years. It's obviously not a full 18 holer, but Turnberry GC in Brampton also comes to mind for this.

Use to enjoy Oakridge and Lakeridge when I lived in the West Hill area.

Cedarhurst in Beaverton. Thompson design and fun to play for very little money.

Agree with this, Deer Creek doesn't have the best reputation on here from the sounds of it but their courses are always in great shape. Deer Creek South is a fun course to play as well, has good variety in their holes.

Woodington Lakes may not be a secret anymore, but it is a spectacular course (Legends, haven't played Legacy).

                        +1 for Copetown Woods
a bit further outside the GTA but Whirlpool is EXCELLENT value. Stanley Thompson (wish it would get a renovation, it could be SOOO good)
                        It that a Titleist?

Value varies for each individual but Lakeview Golf Course has been high on my list in that department.

Piper's Heath Golf Club is a different style at a higher price point but it punches above its weight in my opinion.

Not really a "secret" but there is not a better deal in the GTA than Lakeview for what you get, and it is going to get a whole lot better in the coming years.
