This post had me intrigued so I went to have a look at the Lebovic website, looks like they have drastically decreased their green fees? Granted last time I checked was when they first opened and I believe they were asking for close to $400 for a round, looks a lot more reasonable now:

• 1 Round of Golf + Cart - Saturday, Sunday - $159.99+tax

To me the course while nice and always in MINT condition lacks any wow factor. Definitely worth playing if you have not. It's less than 10 mins from my house but having played it 20+ times in tourneys and with the freebies, I likely won't pony up for a green fee.

I have played here many times, worked there during the opening year, I would agree with you in part, on the wow factor, but only as it pertains to the par 3"s, the other holes are quite good, but the par 3's lack in "wow". As you have stated, at least a few years ago, it is in great shape.

I have not checked it out yet, but if they in fact have come down to earth I would play it again, in particular I take my grandson to a new course every year, which he has not played before, for his birthday and Lebovic may just be this year's course.

That would be incorrect according to my tournament organizers, as of a couple of weeks ago. But I have not been up there personally, so I guess it's possible that things have changed. Also, the link does not mention "drinks", alcoholic or otherwise. They did not have a liquor licence in 2022.

Not bad! Their prices are finally entering the realm of the real world. Given the outstanding conditioning (if it holds up this year) that might be worth a go. I do like the course, considering the limitations of the narrow strip of land Carrick was presented with. Lots of elevation change on the west side of Leslie, then a very different feel when you cross the road, including a three-hole mini amen corner at 11-13 (but that is not an appropriate name for it. Wolf's Corner?) where the character changes again.
