It depends some what on several factors, most locals want to play Glen Abbey and Wooden Sticks at some point.
Will you be drinking, staying over or what?
I agree with previous poster as well but as far as glamour goes not so much. Of course some have access to real luxury in the top notch private courses with the right connections and sometimes handicaps you can get on pretty much anywhere. Back in the day when the company owners were picking up the tab we had the privilege of playing quite a few. So I guess one of the above is your best option.Resolve to be tender with the young, compassionate with the aged, sympathetic with the striving, and tolerant with the weak and wrong, because sometime in your life, you will have been all of these. Would strongly recommend booking your round(s) now by paying the advance booking fee. That way you will get your choice of course(s) and time(s).
Also note that The North (and possibly the driving range) will be closed for the season after the long weekend in August.
Further, the place will be a construction all season. It is dusty, and there are concrete road barriers just a few yards away from the 18th green on The Hoot.
Finally, FWIW, if you really want to make this a special occasion for your friend, wait until 2024 when the new facilities will be finished.

Yes, I agree with the above. Osprey is the place if he is a "golf nut", but this year may not be the best year for a luxurious experience. I would say Eagles Nest presents the most luxurious (ostentatious) experience in the GTA, but you said you've played it. How about The Nest at Friday Harbour? Or get yourself on to one of the platinum Clublink courses.

Osprey golf is certainly very good but the supporting infrastructure is far from what I would call luxurious, it's really not very good at all. That will change over the next couple years.
if great golf is all you want OV meets that. If you want a nice place to have a drink before and a shower and dinner after, probably best to do Copper or Eagles."Don't cry because it's over, Smile because it happened "
