Obtained some clubs and a bag from the early 1900’s and am trying to find the best way to clean the bag. Any experience?Click image for larger version

Dawn dish detergent and a sponge, and a soft bristle brush for the seams and strap.

      3 step process.

(if possible turn the bag inside out and clean the inside first)
If its dirty on the inside it will show thru on the outside.

1- wet one side ot the bag with warm soapy water and gently rub with sponge.
Rinse off and repeat on other side.
2- do the strap with the soft bristle brush.
3- stuff towels in the bag so it can dry slowly. (don't use a hair dryer).

If it is leather, how about saddle soap?
