  • Do i need to replace the shaft?

Not too knowledgable on shaft but here is the picture of my 3 wood.
I was wondering if the crack in the image is on the shaft or adapter?

It looks like a expensive Handcrafted .335 shaft, suspiciously "shimmed: with the aid of an incorrect oversize collared ferrule, has backed out of the .350 hosel

I believe the Handcrafted shaft is salvageable for future use in a.335 bore sized fairway wood.
Have it pulled by a pro. Replace it with a suitable, for your swing, proper.350 diameter tip shaft.
    things change

Is the head lose ? Try and twist it and see if it moves. Otherwise could just be a ferrule that creeped

Looks like it has seperation of the shaft fibers,I think it's toast.
