  • Golf Garage (Custom Club) Equivalent Canada

I saw the post in MGS about Golf Garage and it seems like a pretty cool way of renewing old club.

Anyone have experienced with them? or know of Canadian business providing the same service?

Would love to support local business during this pandemic time.

I don't know of anyone local that does this. The samples on their home page show their work is of very high quality.

Golf Garage is one of the premier options for refinishing in North America. Kyle is extremely good and offers some finish options that no one else does. I have 3 putters refinished by him and they are top notch. Biggest issue is that it expensive to get refinished done by him, especially with the cost to ship there and back and the exchange rate. And his prices have been on the rise for quite some time as he has gotten more popular.

Unfortunately there is no one in Canada that I know that can offer the abundance of finish options that Golf Garage does

Check these guys out. They are branching out to club refinishing.

Jake Brennand is a great guy, extremely knowledgeable, and has a ton of club building experience.

Thanks for sharing the experience. Quick question, were you charge import tax or weird unexpected charges when having the putters refinished?

Ya, it' hard to avoid customs fees unless they put value of package very low and you get lucky. It's a flip of the coin.
