It goes without saying that when you use any chemical to install a grip or restore a grip you wash the grip with dish soap before use. A wipe down with White Vinegar ,to be rid of soap residue, is recommended.

yes true, and that is why water-activated double-.sided tape was introduced as many people were/are also sensitive to Varsol.

I now use a compressor to air-install new grips, but if I tried the compressor on aged hard vintage grips they would split or blow up.

Brake fluid .like most solvents, is listed as a skin irritant

Sorry to hear that, with these new lockdown rules, retail can remain open but with 25 percent capacity I believe, so Golftown can stay open but with restrictions??

Yeah, I assumed it would be the same as the other 2 lockdowns, but you’re right that they’ll still be open with lower capacity.

I called Golf Town today, and they said the only parts of the store that will be closed are the hitting bays and bathrooms.

I did and there was only one GP, a few Lamkin putter grips and 3-4 Super Strokes. I'll bet the remaining grips were shipped to the stores.

I called GT customer service yesterday because I was trying to buy something online. They said they were having a massive system issue and that it should be resolved by this morning.

Hopefully once the issue is resolved you’ll be able to see more options in stock.

GT in Aurora and Barrie are able to get them done within a couple of days as far as I know. Even the Vaughan location is probably much quicker than that.
