I have an OG sldr mini 16* sits 4* open and prefect to my eye at set up. It has been in my bag for years and I will never sell. It’s almost a guaranteed fairway finder. But I use it strictly as a 3 wood off the tee and don’t even attempt hitting it off the fairway. Not sure how useful an 11.5* mini driver would be to anyone but making one in 15-16 degree for a tee only fairway wood would probably get more attention from the masses.

Surely there is benefit in forgiveness with 460cc vs 260cc.
Any modern driver with adjustable weights can be played at 44" with aftermarket weights, or even shorter.
Lie Angle is less of an issue with lower lofts, vs higher lofted clubs.
A driver like Titleist's offerings lets one adjust Lie Angle for 0.75* or 1.5*.
I've tried one of TM's mini driver in a simulator and I don't see the point. Harder to hit off the fairway and less forgiving than a driver. If people like it as a driver replacement why not try to find a higher lofted 460cc driver. My dad switched from a 10 degree to a 12 degree driver and gained distance and forgiveness."I'm a hockey player but I'm here to play golf today" Happy Gilmore

Golfed with a guy this morning who had the BRNR Mini 11.5, dialed down to 9.5. He was crushing it long and straight, but he also had a Rogue driver in the bag that he hit equally as well. I hit it on one hole -> had really nice feel and sound, though it flew too low for me -> I game a 12* driver.Last edited by ARL67; May 27, 2023, 07:08 AM.WITB for 2023 | Titleist Hybrid-5 Stand Bag -> 11 clubs
