Just spotted this CPGA endorsed golf coaching program for adults who are new to the sport.
It is a five day program with a full introduction to the sport including history, rules, etiquette, coaching and more. It is pretty reasonable as well, prices starting at $99 depending on which facility you learn at. Looks like the closest one to Toronto is based at Glen Eagles.
This would be excellent for anyone who wants to try golf out, but doesn't want to embark on a lot of expense to find out it's not for them.
