Speaking of Southern Pines Golf Club, I just got a notice from Mid Pines/Pine Needles that they have purchased Southern Pines and will now have 3 Donald Ross courses. I would like to see what they do for improvements. Bet it won't be a $25 course anymore.

I know Kelly Miller has made multiple attempts to purchase the course with no success. I played it with one of the Mid Pines pros 5-6 years ago and it was truly a hidden gem. With them already putting together a 18 month plan to bring it back to life with Kyle Franz it will be awesome. Wonder if they will bring back the forgotten 9 holes that is overgrown.

cant wait to go down there next year and hopefully it’s included in the golf lover package!
