Golf trip fort Lauderdale/ Miami

I'm going to Miami for my bachelor party. I looking to golf 3 times when I'm there. Any courses I should play? Looking to spend less then 100 a round

I really liked Emerald Hills, but Jacaranda (2 x 18) is nice as well

was down in December played 9 rounds in 7 days.



ranking what we played:

1. Jacaranda - great condition very nice layout - - hot deal $49
2 Emerald Hills. this is a big course good conditions - $49 +tax
3 Eagle trace. good solid course. $56 + tax
4 woodmont( 2) - Nice greens . good layout . fairways are new and a bit patchy - $45 plus tax
5 pembrokelakes - nice layout well conditioned but not as challenging as some of the others
6 woodlands - nice layout good greens but houses were very close $45+tax
7 bonaventure - nice layout but some greens were in rough shape $30
8 orangebrook - nice for a very cheap afternoon round i think it was like $12 , only worth playing if you are very close by and have nothing better to do.

I like the holes better on the West course. The West course is the one that if your standing at the range - the 1st hole is to the right.

Pricing is $85 usd and up + tax depending on time of day. If you get a glimpse of a great deal snatch it up rrrapido!

Using Canam, we played Fountains south twice in the past week at $30/rd at 1:30 and $40/rd at 11:00. Fountains reminds me of PP without the quirky 9th hole and at easily half the green fee. Greens running 10-11. Also west course at Jacarenda is easily better than east.

Eagle Trace was disappointing. Played there on December 7. No investment by Clublink. Shows in the clubhouse and on the course. They are milking this course until they eventually close it.

Jacaranda West and East were great. Club at Emerald Hills was very tough, but it made you want to come back or another go. It’s a great course to play on getaway day, as the Fort Lauderdale Airport is very close. Was told that the course will be closing in 1.5 years, will be redesigned by Nicklaus, new clubhouse, will be going private.
