    Castlerock is a real hidden gem in that area. Front 9 winds between the town and dunes and back 9 has some incredible vistas and challenging holes. #9 is probably the hardest or 3 I’ve ever played, was 215 into a gale force wind with no bail out option.

    Heard great things about Ardglass too, but we chose Castlerock on local recommendation.

    if you can get on Royal County down it’s arguably the best course in the UK. I’m planning a return trip just to play there.

      Castlerock is better than Ardglass, on a close vote, IMO. The first three at Ardglass are hugely memorable though, as is the clubhouse. Worth a visit if you can squeeze it in.
