Hi everyone!

I'm new to this board. I took up golf a few years ago but then got bored with it. My significant other keeps pestering me to practice (or play - what's the difference?) with him. Maybe if he stopped badgering me I would.


I had a brilliant idea today that I'll take it up again soon. If I do that, he may hate me because we'll be together ALL the time.

Welcome to the board. The best thing about taking up the game again, and playing with your significant, other is the chance to lay a beating on him. . Or, at least play for who cooks and does the dishes . Have fun and enjoy the TGN clan.

Oh, Mule56, thank you for reminding me the true reason why I should be golfing--he's gonna get a beat down.

He promised to buy me a hat I wanted at Golftown. He needs to pony up soon.

And once he gets his beat down - he'll need to pony up for a new driver for you too, and a new set of irons...maybe a 3 wood...hybrid perhaps! LOL
