I play in Durham as well, and am looking for playing partners. I typically play at Foxbridge in Uxbridge. Also planning to sign up for a league in the spring at the same course next year, which should be a good way to find other playing partners / friends. Send me a PM if you are interested.

I found this when I finally joined a golf club. You may want to think about doing the same, it makes golf much more fun.

Look around the courses in your area for Men's Night/League. It could something like 9 holes every Wednesday evening at 6pm etc. The spots usually fill up fast.

Great question. Anyone who plays near courses in Markham or Scarborough? Also I practice at indoor golf simulators in the area. It would be great to hook with golf enthusiast!

Do a Google and see if there are golf meetup.com groups in your area.

I joined 3 golf meetup groups here in Vanc between 2013-2015 where I met a handful of golfers that are now part of my regular rotation of golf friends.
FWIW....generally speaking, none of us play or rarely play in these meetup groups....we just book our own tee times to golf.
