  • CJGA - Charity Golf Tournament - Lebovic Golf Club - Friday, August 16th

    Hi All,

I am helping run a charity golf tournament, where 100% of the proceeds are being donated to helping grow junior golf in Canada. It is a great deal and opportunity to play a great golf course. The tournament includes: Tournament round of golf and cart, welcome gifts, 3 golf passes per player for a returning round of golf (and F&B) at Lebovic Golf Club (passes expire Oct-2020), Lunch, on course F&B, Dinner, drinks, Wine tasting at dinner, prizing, and more! (over $2,000 in value per player). Here are the details...

    Date: Friday, August 16, 2019
    Tee-time: 12:30pm (shot-gun)
    Golf Course: Lebovic Golf Club
    Cost: $300/player, and $1,100/foursome
Charity: CJGA (Canadian Junior Golf Association)
    Registration form: https://cjga.com/wp-content/uploads/...d-July-3-R.pdf

    Hope to see you there!

Lebovic Golf Club is not part of Golf Canada.

Golf Canada supports the growth of the sport of golf in Canada.

If you really wanted to support junior Golf, you would play at a course that also supports the game.

They might not be registered with Golf Canada, but I guessing they are donating the course for the day.

Not sure why #2 post would get their knickers in a twist over Lebovic not being part of Golf Canada, please read the OP again it is in support of CJGA, which is also not part of Golf Canada

Hi All - just for clarity, the CJGA (Canadian Junior Golf Association) is not part of Golf Canada. However, the CJGA is the feeder system to the OGA, Golf Canada, and all of the other provincial junior golf teams. Therefore, if you support junior tours like the CJGA, then you will support all junior golf in Canada. The CJGA offers junior golfers as young as the age of 5 to 18 years old. The likes of Brooke (and Brittany) Henderson started with the CJGA, and PGA stars: Adam Hadwin, Corey Conners, Nick Taylor, etc. I hope that helps?
