I always do a count. I would tell him once we out there. Let him think about for while... lol . I have personally enacted this strategy upon occasion.

I always count my own and if it's a team match play event will count my partners. I always have a couple extra clubs, maybe a second driver and depending on the wind and direction , course conditions or how I'm hitting them etc will decide on the range before a match which clubs I will put in play for that match, return the others to the car.

As the others have said, I'd tell my opponent.
ETA, I'd never count my opponents clubs, but should the situation arise I would tell him.

To be honest, I never even bother checking opponents bag. Though if I did it would definitely be before match started.

9/10 I would definitely inform my opponent. The other time is reserved for for those Who are known cheaters/sandbaggers.

I would tell my opponent right away. Winning by pulling out a “gotcha” halfway through the match has no appeal to me.

I'd sneak over to his bag, remove the extra club and hide it somewhere and then half way down the first fairway, I'd tell him he's buying the beers at the turn. There is no scenario be it financial, tournament play or any other situation that would let him tee off with 15 sticks without warning him. I need to sleep at night.

Seeing that we got walloped by snow last night and watching too much match play,there’s a question for you guys and gals.
you have a match to play and you notice your opponent has 15 clubs in his bag.
1. Do you tell him before you tee off
2. Wait and if you’re losing,call the infraction
I have seen this happen before so just wondering what your viewpoint would be.
