Seems like a solid choice. Lots of history with the club and generally regarded as a solid person.

Tom Watson was...IMO...the obvious next in line to be a Masters ceremonial starter.
But...I have never liked Watson...always thought that he could be quite "crusty".
It was confirmed at the 2010 USSO at Sahalee.

It was late in the day...Watson came out of the clubhouse to get into a golf cart to take him to the parking lots.
There were few fans...in step of taking a step to the side Watson pushed a guy out of his way for no reason...as he walking towards the cart.....he also wouldn't sign autographs for 3 kids...Romero also didn't sign for the 3 kids....same with Couple.

On the flip side and to no surprise...Crenshaw and John Cook were really nice at the range.

I would hope Crenshaw, Langer and Floyd become starters someday.

never liked the Master's trotting out the "I'm not dead yet"

I'd rather see them start the Masters with a rotation of Junior players.
