  • Blacked out my 2017 M1

Recently picked up another used M1, needed a loft change but this one was in rougher condition but cheap $140.. So I decided to experiment on it, I love the original white/Carbon combo but good luck matching the original white, I tried 3 diff white paints all in comparison came out looking yellowish so I went black and really like the outcome.

Sanded the white with 360, masked it off, few coats of paint, few coats of clear coat, wetsand 2000 and buff... ez

... crappy pics, the original I got from owner and my phone camera seems to be having focus issues.. weird

Thank you sir, only thing I haven't done is that T logo or an arrow < or something, maybe add that later if I feel I need it for alignment which I doubt.

        Wow - that looks great!!!

What I found works well for the white is white nail polish. I saw a post on golfwrx mentioning this so I went digging around in my daughters and wife's nail polish boxes and found a white nail polish that was a perfect match.

yup that would be great for touch ups, but I wouldn't want to brush on the entire area, need to spray to lay on flat. unfortunately the original damage was beyond a simple touch up.. but good to know on the nail polish
