I don't know if it's over four your "here", but for my "here" (Mississauga) hope to get couple of more kicks at the can, although i'm worried about the prospect, especially when the usually longest open course in my neighborhood, which i play frequently this time of year, and BTW, played yesterday - Derrydale, is closed now - combination of bad weather for next 2 weeks, plus lack of customers. When the owner is tending the cashier, tells all, LOL. BTW, he is a very nice and pleasant old gent, my age (veryold ) and treats seniors with respect, and has very good and affordable senior prices !!!

Take your negative attitudes and go away! :-)

I see some rain and sun in the future... so maybe

We've had early snow before and then ended up golfing well into Dec in the East GTA.

I have a tee time next Monday but it doesn't look promising. Sigh...

Some courses are taking a 'wait and see' attitude.

For the past few years I have golfed well into December in the GTA (remember Christmas 2015?). With the late start and bad spring weather we had this year, it has been a much shorter than normal season. As a result the number of rounds that I have been able to play has been greatly reduced.

We've had early snow before and then ended up golfing well into Dec in the East GTA. What worries me is the really iffy 14 day forecast, which will bring us to last week of Nov, and maybe the courses will "give up" by then and close, no ???

Sunday in Mississauga is expect to be 6 or 7 degrees. Last week when it was only 5, Royal Ontario had 50 golfers out. I'm sure some courses will open up for the weekend.

Both Trafalgar and Wyldewood are closed for the season. I won't play again until next spring.
This isn't a dress rehearsal. Enjoy yourself. There's no do-over.

Here is hoping that Annandale continues to remain open over the winter months - for those diehards who stubbornly refuse to let go of their clubs from their cold, frozen, deadened hands.

Fortunately there are no rules limiting the number of golf balls you can carry during a match!
