Another glorious week in Mexico at our favourite resort, the Bahia Principe Sian Ka'an (See the post linked below for a thread I started on this wonderful piece of paradise on the Mayan Riviera):

The course is the PGA Riviera Maya, and the interesting thing this year is they are lobbying to replace Mayacoba as the fall PGA stop in 2 years (For those who may not be aware, Mayacoba has left the PGA to host a LIV event in February).
The course played very tough this year, with a lot of wind and tighter lies than ever around the greens. I played 6 rounds and sadly only had one bird vs. the 7 I had over the same period last year (Funny enough, I actually played better overall with more pars, GIR and fairways hit) - Details around my lone bird:- 01/18/23: Par 3 17th - Playing 140 into a strong wind, had dunked it the previous day w/my 8 iron in similar conditions, so decided to go w/my 7 iron and was still below the hole leaving me a good 12' from the pin, straight putt to the centre.
The course is a wonderful test of golf, but a bit too much with a lot of vacationing hackers losing upwards of a dozen balls per round if not more by some accounts.
