    Hey ALL

I had the good fortune to visit a friend in Vegas for a few days in Feb so got 5 rounds in then.

Haven't played here yet, I suspect if the weather cooperates ( need dry ground, sunny and > 10*C ) it will be in the week or 2 after the Easter weekend.

Our Club’s tee sheets opened up for 2 weeks from now. Booked a time for Friday, April 14th. Went for a walk around the course today and the greens are very green and lush. The tarps were taken off this week. The greens will be cut when the weather warms up this week. However, we had a wild wind storm go through St. Thomas yesterday and there are a few tress leaning over and need to be removed. Lots of other debris all over the course to clean up.

La Quinta Mountainview CC, 9 holes on March 4. 18 AM March 5. 18 March 6. Fired the driver after 9 holes. 3w of tee thereafter.

Still a lot of snow here, I don’t see a round in Calgary until 3rd week April. Windermere valley, Fairmont Riverside open now, Copper Point maybe Friday. Nights still too cold.

Skied last two days, skiing friday and Saturday at least

May play hookie Thursday afternoon and ski as well

Had to pass on Carrick Macross this weekend due to other obligations.

Booked for Don Valley on Wednesday, but it is supposed to rain, so may cancel. (not exactly your " warm" summer rain.)

But have a sopt at Tam O'Shater on Thursday that looks like a go.

Fortunately there are no rules limiting the number of golf balls you can carry during a match!

Wednesday rain is supposed to be a downpour so I'm not sure what the conditions will be like on Thursday...

Quite wet I would expect - but after a 5 month hiatus, I am taking whatever opportunities come around for swinging a club, even if I have to wear boots.

...same here and i would NOT MIND toques, jackets and turtle necks on top of boots

                    Have fun and cheers !!!

                      Booked for Friday afternoon.

Supposed to be about 45 degrees F. and sunny.

Have some lined pants, golf gloves, a hat with ear flaps and waterproof hiking shoes.
                      So already to go

With the torrential rains yesterday, course will likely be really wet but temps as high as 21 next week might mean I have to try and get my first walk in

Was set to play tomorrow at Derrydale, but the pro shop told me that it is soaked, so may postpone it for a couple of days ???

                              Smart decision,

the Real Feel temperature tomorrow is going to be in negative figures all day. As cold as -8
Cold and wet is not fun.
