Royal Woodbine - Hole 3 - Par 5 - 486 Yards.

Wind was at my back so I clubbed down, took 3W off the tee and dead center fairway. Left myself with 200 to the pin, decided on 6i since wind at my back and wouldn't be bad if I was short since long was real bad. I struck this perfectly and figured it would be on the green probably 40ft from the pin. Driving up noticed the shot was better than I thought, then got a second glimpse and even better than I thought. Walked up an was 2ft from the pin, was dead straight, stepped over and knocked it in.

My first eagle ever, next one will be possibly very long away.

Well I finally get to take part in this thread!

5th Hole at Summit- Par 5- 520 Yards

Good drive down the right hand side of the fairway, felt like I pulled it a bit but still a great drive. Ended up just in the right rough with a good lie.

Hit a hybrid which got a kick left and ended up 78 front, 95 middle and 105 back with a back right pin tucked behind a bunker with the green going up hill. Got an OK lie, a little bit of grass behind the ball sitting down. Hit a 60 to try and get it as high as possible to stop on the green, landed perfectly where I wanted it and bounced right and rolled into the hole.

First one in a while. Beauty drive with a nice draw to the correct side of a fairway split by trees, 190 left, 4 iron to within a foot. Preceded by a birdie on the par 3 before!

Today, Innerkip Highlands - My second Eagle of the year:

• Par 5 15th: Playing 503 yards today, drive to the left of the Fairway bunker, ball was sitting up nicely with 234 yards to the hole, decided to hit my 3H, perfect strike along the tree line faded up to the front of the green, chipped in with my 54 degree from about 50' for the Eagle.

My front 9 was a decent 41, the Eagle built some momentum and made a somewhat struggled back 9 in the rain another 41 for a decent 82.

Today at Tam O'Shanter

First Eagle ever on a Par 4 Hole.....

Par 4 ... 17th Hole ... Short 300 yard hole ... Hit 7 Iron for position to bottom of hill.
Hit 7 Iron again uphill to pin at the back of the green. It settled on the foam in the middle of the cup..

Cool and cloudy with an early tee time, ball not going as far as normal. Ground out a 46 Front - 38 Back = 84

Shoot them straight.

Last week at Royal Ashburn #17 - Driver / 4i / holed out from 10 yards short of the green

At Crosswinds today - customer appreciation day to boot with free lunch, free cart and I think a half price round next year or possibly better (didn't read coupon). Given they are booked like mad, this was a very nice gesture.

16th - Par 4 322, high long pull almost into the driving range leaving tight side hill pitch to front pin with very little green to work with and a bunker in the way. Never super confident when the shot decision tree says FLOP, but I launched this one high in the air, it landed soft, rolled 5-6 feet and dropped for a 2.

Also birdied 2, 7, and 15 but managed to counter balance with 5 doubles ;-). Score card quite the xmas tree.

trying to draw the ball but I have fade swing. Must have cancel each other as ball flew straight lower than expected hit the front of the green
The pin was tucked in the back and we saw the ball roll and disappear into the cup

Hole 6 at Summit from the Blacks. Short par 4 that was playing downwind. You can either lay up and leave yourself a 125 yard approach or try and drive it short of the green. I hit driver ( was playing a small money game against a D1 College golfer ) and left myself an easy chip to get it close. Ended up sinking it for an eagle to get me within 1 stroke of him! Fun to make an eagle in match like that.

Hole 18 at wooden sticks on Sept 21. Didn’t trust my driver so hit a 3 wood left centre of the fairway to ~115. Just replaced my 52-56-60 wedge setup with 50-54-58 vokeys and holed out with the 50! Totally worth all the money in new clubs!!

Okanagan Golf Club The Quail. Played the blacks in 10 degree weather.
Haven't had one in a while.
530 yard par 5, driver hybrid to 10 feet and center cup. Helped break 80 on a course that had tucked pins. Apparently, there was a group of 16 earlier in the day that were playing a tourney and the pins were set by the director of golf. Most were two paces on in some nasty spots. It could have been a better round for sure.
