Then, Socialism isn't a bad word as it creates jobs, bigly guud! But they won't mention that those 3rd, 4th and 5th homes aren't in the US... Clever basturds!
at the turn of the 20th century when people like Rockefeller and Carnegie were the becoming super rich their empires were built on employing thousands of people. modern billionaires can become rich from their basements with no employees. in many cases they can get richer by destroying jobs rather than creating jobs.

        • The toddler in chief is touting huge middle class tax cuts. Is he going for 2 trillion?

Easy to do when your base can't count higher than, let alone see a future past 45.

Fortunately there are no rules limiting the number of golf balls you can carry during a match!

              • ^ got a laugh reading this earlier. I also wonder if all the coal mines have switched over their lighting systems to LED, could be missing out on an orange rare earth mineral that seems to be polluting some water sources. Might be blending in.

That was a couple of days ago. He went on and on how expensive and useless they were. Why change what we have as it is already perfectly good and a lot cheaper . . . and now it makes him look orange . . . he is a complete idiot.
If you think it's hard to meet new people, try picking up the wrong golf ball.

Should have done that two years ago, not the corporate cut. The idea of cutting taxes to corporations is it will spur economic growth by freeing up Capitol to invest. The Fortune 500 is already sitting on the largest cash assets in the history of the stock exchange. They have cash, they are not investing it in the US. So now they have more cash and used it to buy back shares, which does little for the economy, if anything.
Putting money in the hands of the middle class Encourages growth by increasing consumer spending (demand). It also makes the tax system more fair IMO with all the loopholes for the companies and wealthy. (See Trump $1b dollar loss he carried forward. That was borrowed money he soon declared bankruptcy against. But the loss still carried forward and saved him million in taxes, that should not be allowed. He didn't lose $1b of his own money, never had a billion dollars).

I remember, such a loophole is a travesty and should have never have been allowed.

I.e. this looks like Trump getting payback against Andy, because former Obama and Clinton counsel was recently acquitted on similar charges.
As a follow up, several commentators seem to think this is unusual. First, no equivalent case can be found (malicious prosecution comes into play) and rumours the Grand Jury did not recommend indictment. If the second is true along with no history of prosecuting similar cases, I like McCabe's chances. I also like his chances of winning a lawsuit against the government for harassment. But...the bigger concern will be if Trump is using the DOJ to go after his enemies. That's Nixonian and 3rd world dictator kind of plays.

                        • I'm often critical of Trump, but I try to give credit where credit is due.

He's latched onto this vaping thing very quickly, and that's actually going to save some lives.

                          Good work, Mr. President

                          "Confusion" will be my epitaph

I don't think we'll ever agree on anything... one of the few times something positive about Trump is said I disagree with it... shall we just have government make all of our decisions for us? Alcohol causes thousands of premature deaths every year, shall we bring back prohibition? I'm a big believer in the adage "governments job is to protect me from others, not from myself".

Though I do think that these vapes should not be allowed to be marketed as a smoking cessation tool or a safe alternative to smoking.

Unless you're being sarcastic.. tough to tell lol

                            • In a highly unusual decision, a grand jury refused to indict Trump's fixation, Andrew McCabe. The evidence could not have matched the compelling nature of a ham sandwich.

Trump and Barr get an embarrassing slapdown as grand jury reportedly will not indict Andrew McCabe
