A new version of an old thread.
I’ve kept the thread framework – year one. I did so because, as I said in the earlier incarnation of this thread, I think it’s fair to allow a new government a chance to develop, and even a shaky start (I would argue this has been a VERY shaky start) might only be a year-one thing. A year 2, 3, or 4 thread might paint the government in a new light.
And as I said several times in the earlier thread, based on his time as city councillor, I don’t have high hopes for Ford, and I think he’s off to an appalling start, but he’s got good people around him who, I hope, will have an influence. Perhaps he will evolve as a premier, and Future-Doug might be encouraged to take a more measured approach to legislation, rather than the rash, ham-fisted handling we’ve seen so far.
