RIP Officer Brian Sicknick

Officer Sicknick died in hospital last night after being hit over head with a Fire Extinguisher. Not clear yet who is responsible but they need to be given the maximum possible.
The women Trump supporter who was killed received a lot of coverage, so far Brian Sicknick not so much.

Shocked and dismayed at the loss of this Officers life. Trump and Trump supporters actually support law enforcement(?) Such a tragic and totally unnecessary loss of life. Particularly of someone that gave his life in the line of duty.

On Wed, this officer put on his uniform, kissed his family good bye and headed to work.

He didn't get to go home that evening because he was killed in the line of duty. The sad part is his duty was to defend the lives of the politicians who incited the violence that resulted in his death.

Hope justice is served, and hope the House and the Senate members pay respect to this public servant who lost his life so they can live.

Yes the guy who hit him and everyone within the immediate vicinity needs to be charged with murder. As someone pointed out, there are cameras all over the place, so it may just be a question of time before they can sift through all the footage.

Hopefully they track down every last one of them and charge them. "particularly liked the lady realtor from Chicago who said she didn't know anything happened until she got back to her hotel.

She's free to have her beliefs and causes.

What concerns me is

1) Does her travel fall under "essential business"?; and

2) DId she notify anyone in her workplace of her need to self-isolate for 2 weeks on her return?

Given she's a healthcare worker, it's the 2nd point that worries me.
