They are awful people . . . and to think he is Attorney General . . .

You know that you're really not doing well when the likes of Louie Gohmert can take 'the moral high ground'...

Let's not forget that Paxton has been under indictment on state securities fraud charges since 2015.

Just to add to his list of accomplishments, in 2020, 7 whistleblowers accused Paxton of abuse of office, bribery, and a few other crimes.

Four of those whistleblowers have since filed suit against Paxton for firing them because they reported his abuses to law enforcement.

Yup, Paxton is a Trump guy through and through.

Anyone this stupid should not be punished. However, IMO, they should lose their right to vote...

Law enforcement does this from time to time. They phone or send mail to the last know address of persons with outstanding warrants and tell them they have won a lottery prize or a free trip, they just need to come on down and pick it up. And the criminals fall for it.

I was wondering why he had a patch . . . well the former "firearm instructor" drop a loaded gun that discharge in his face, blinding him in his left eye. The former Yale Law School graduate is now charged with "seditious conspiracy" . . .

And we know what will follow if she does not comply.

                          • NYT put together a timeline of calls, actions, texts, etc. for how the OathKeepers planned the insurrections.

It's compelling reading, I don't know if it's compelling enough for a conviction.

One thing that stood out to me was how much evidence there was. I assume some of it was through tracking purchases of firearms, not sure how they got to the encrypted chat messages.

                              • Maybe it's becoming clear why Rudy Giuliani was so concerned about the FBI raids on his office and home.

Giuliani is now being investigated for his leadership/involvement in the submission of false electors from seven separate states.

With every new development, it is extremely difficult to reconcile who Giuliani has become with who he was at the time of 9/11 and prior to that when he was a U.S. Attorney.

And, with no money to defend himself, he will likely flip.
