The California Bar Association is seeking the disbarment of John Eastman.

That is some positive news and hopefully enough of those clowns take note that stupid games have stupid consequences. TFG deserves to be screwed by having no lawyer in the country wanting anything to do with him.

The bombs were not discovers until Jan. 6th., why does she mention the 5th?

Didn't MTG previously claim that the events of the 6th were nothing? Just a few folks peacefully expressing their opinions. Now she's effectively claiming that the National Guard should have been called up earlier presumably so that they could lie in wait for these ne'er do wells. I wish she could get her stories straight.

Today, four more of Trump's allies, the Proud Boys, were convicted of a number of charges arising out of the events of January 6th, including seditious conspiracy. So much for the peaceful expession of dissent. How long will it be before MTG visits these "freedom loving heroes" in prison, once they've been sentenced?

18 years for Rhodes and 12 years for his 2IC. Seems fitting to me. Not only was there a seditious conspiracy, contrary to the repeated assertions to the contrary of the MAGA crowd, but the offence carries hefty penalties. Hopefully, TFG will find out just how significant it is to face such charges.

Given that Judge Mehta seemed to concede that the sentencing enhancements should apply, 18 years is below the bottom end of the range set out in the sentencing guidelines. Even allowing credit for "time served", it still puts Rode's sentence below the sentencing guidelines.
