    Who makes it?

My couch is worn out and I want to get rid of it. Was planning to replace with a couple of swivel recliners.

I looked at the reviews for Palliser and Lazy Boy which, back in the day, had good reputations, and its not pretty.

I found some chairs by a Nordic manufacturer, IMG Design, that I like and the warranty seems decent (10 years frame, 5 years foam), but I really know nothing about the company or its products and how good they really are.

    Anyone have suggestions?

I haven't looked recently but I'd probably check out Mobilia.

I have 2 recliners from The Olde Hide House (inherited one). Both are solid, and one is over 20 years old.

The real cherry seat in the house though, is the Ekorne stressless medium in the living room. I really like this char. I hated the price, but it is an excellent piece, now 5 years old. My wife used to house sit for a couple in Oakville that had 2 of these, and when we sat in those old ones we knew we would end up spending the $ for at least one.
Still getting the hang of this game!

In the Ogio Atlas for riding or Ogio Vaporlite for carrying:

Ping G2 with HOT PINK Grafalloy Bimatrix
            Srixon W-403 AD 5 wood
            Nike 23 degree hybrid
            Ping eye2+ irons 5-PW
            Cleveland CG14 Gunmetal 52, 56
Bronze Ping Anser 3 with Tigershark grip

I had a recliner and a sofa, mission style. I gave them to a friend when I downsized. The recliner was the most comfortable chair I ever sat in, a Barcalounger. The quality of their products is top notch.

Would agree with you on Lazy Boy. I bought one of their recliners 3-4 years ago and it's aging fast. Would not buy again.

They an Palliser get a lot of one and two star ratings.

Thanks for the replies gents. Old Hide House is a bit far from me, but I will check the others out.

@mcgxsr I'll check out Ekorn. There is a dealer near me. You answered the unasked question about what it's going to cost me as well. For furniture, I suspect quality doesn't come cheap.

My personal dream is to look around my house, and not be able to find one piece of furniture that requires an allen key.

Lowest cost for the highest quality or course.

                          Quality first.
Swivel recliner for at least one of the chairs
Fabric, but most of the stuff I've looked at has a range of options.

Not sure about recliners but Abacus Furniture in Etobicoke south of the Gardiner has good quality stuff. A long time ago I used to pop in and see their sales clearance section for deals. Obviously not something easy to do now but it you are patient and willing to swing by a few times a year then pounce when you see what you want at a good discount it is worth it.
