Reports that he went to Vancouver without permission/against and/or in contravention of rules/protocol.

Kane had one 'job' while in the AHL, to demonstrate that he could follow the rules.

It appears that he could not even do that for a short period of time.

Ohhh this story is longer and sort of interesting. Kane has been vaccinated (supposedly) . . . sometime in December (after the 18) he went to Vancouver (hometown) . . . at some point late December (22 I think) he entered Covid protocol. The Sharks released him for going to Canada with while positive for covid . . . not sure how he entered Canada with covid???

Sharks: "breach of his NHL Standard Player Contract and for violation of the AHL COVID-19 protocols"

Now his camp and the NHLPA will file a grievance.

He had 6 goals and 2A in 5 games in the AHL . . .

Now all of this is going to court . . .

100% right . . . they were definitely trying to get out of this contract . . . not blaming them . . .

Not that it never happens, but it is amazing how some guys get "set up" by every team they ever play for and others never have an issue.

Talk about bad luck, the Buffalo Sabres found out this morning that both goalies that played last night against Tampa were injured and are out long term. That means they now have 4 goalies on the injured list, 3 are out long term.

They keep mentioning on Sirius they think Matt is about the only Flame to not have been in protocol to this point. I’d like to see what those guys have in there system lol
