Looking at the thread title yesterday, I had no idea who this was.

Today caught part of a clip by Candace Cameron speaking about him and so had a look. While not a watcher of the show, On a flight to attend and present at a conference at John Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore in the early 90's I sat beside this attractive young woman who after some time revealed who she was (Candace Cameron).
Once I looked I immediately recognized his face. Think he also hosted a game show briefly as well.

seems he was incredibly well respected and liked by his peers

            65 is too young
            RIP

Ironically, ABC news cut in to the AFV episode to announce the news of his passing.

So sad, too young and he seemed very well liked by his peers.

I liked this description of AFV from twitter:

"He hosted youtube before there was a youtube. And you had to wait a whole week to watch it."
                    "Confusion" will be my epitaph

Heard a good compliment from one of his friends . . .

"The only people I ever heard criticizing Bob Saget were his best friends"

                      RIP young man . . .
