Bob Saget gone at 65

Earlier today, deputies were called to the Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes for a call about an unresponsive man in a hotel room. The man was identified as Robert Saget & pronounced deceased on scene. Detectives found no signs of foul play or drug use in this case.

Looking at the thread title yesterday, I had no idea who this was.

Today caught part of a clip by Candace Cameron speaking about him and so had a look. While not a watcher of the show, On a flight to attend and present at a conference at John Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore in the early 90's I sat beside this attractive young woman who after some time revealed who she was (Candace Cameron).
Once I looked I immediately recognized his face. Think he also hosted a game show briefly as well.

seems he was incredibly well respected and liked by his peers

Ironically, ABC news cut in to the AFV episode to announce the news of his passing.

Statement from Bob Saget's family on his cause of death: “The authorities have determined that Bob passed from head trauma. They have concluded that he accidentally hit the back of his head on something, thought nothing of it and went to sleep. No drugs or alcohol were involved.”
