Search function issues on TGN

I had trouble finding some threads using the search function. It seems to have some problems.

If you search for terms like Nicklaus, Obama or Mickleson you get no results.

Popular recent terms like Tiger or Trump get results, but only back to March 10.

There were a couple of outages lately, I assume for upgrades. Maybe those were the cause?

I do that from time to time because the search on here is limited.

But today is completely different. It's really f'ed up for now. No results at all for Mickelson? WTF?

When it works on here it's more useful as it returns all the posts in order as well as a means to go to the start of the thread.

For whatever reason (site move to a new server, new server resource limitations, or other reasons), the search index may have to be rebuilt.

TrGo , you can do that from the AdminCP, but it's better to do that from the command line because it's a very resource intensive job.

It's more than likely, that it will fail part way through due to server restrictions. The vB documentation seems to indicate that, in most cases, running the script repeatedly until it eventually completes without error will do the trick.

I been searching for the Prizes for this year 2023 Fantasy Golf League.
No luck even with google search.
