Reading about Ben Franklin earlier today, I was reminded how much our world has changed in the last 300 years. Franklin, who was born in Boston in 1706, was apprenticed to his brother, a printer, in 1717. He was 11 years old! At the age of 14, the charm of working in a print shop having worn off, he ran off to Philadelphia. It turned out to be a brilliant decision.
