  • ISPS Handa Vic Open Preview, Pairings & More

    The LPGA moves to Australia this week for the playing of the ISPS Handa Vic Open.

    LPGA players will be competing alongside the men for an equal purse at the 2019 Vic Open. The event will be held February 7-10 and be co-sanctioned by the LPGA, The European Tour (men's), The ISPS Handa PGA Tour of Australia (men's), and the ALPG (women's).

    It’s a shame Brooke won’t be playing. Still a lot of other greats showing up. Definitely some great golf to be played

        There was a 70 minute delay in the start due to fog


        An unseasonal fog descended on a tranquil 13th Beach Golf Links this morning, forcing a delay to the start of the ISPS Handa Vic Open.

        Play was suspended for 70 minutes with visibility minimal at the projected 7am starting time.

          Anne-Catherine is having a good round, -5 after 17, T2, and one back of Su Oh.
          UPDATE: Anne-Catherine is the clubhouse co-leader at -6 (66, Beach Course) with Su Oh (67, Creek Course).

          A reminder that the TV coverage starts tonight at 11pm.

                    Anne-Catherine and Alena are both T15 going into the final round. Brittany (T44) and Jaclyn (T72) did not make the final-round cut (Top 35 and ties).

                    Austin Connelly is T49 and also missed the final-round cut.

                          All the Canadians got paid this week. This is the first ever professional golf paycheck for Jaclyn Lee and puts everyone on the 2019 money list nice and early in the season (and towards moving up the priority list into Category 8 (Current Year Top 80) at the first reshuffle.
