An amazing feat considering where he was a few years ago. I think the fields now are a lot deeper than when he was in his prime.

Nobody moves the needle like that. Why did they waste all that camera time on those other guys anyways?

Ratings will be interesting. A lot of non golf fans that might have tuned in to see the Return of Tiger show may have missed the early start.

Next 2 majors are on courses he's played well on before. Hmmm.

Other than the miss club on the 4th tee, Tiger's iron play today was impeccable. I think that is the key to his winning today. On 12th, he was smart enough to hit to the left center after seeing Frankie's ball rolled back in. There's about a 10 yard difference there.

Tiger's driver game was above his usual self.

Until the tap-in, Tiger didn't have a lot of fist-pump type or reactions. I suppose that is a sign of how he mellows out.

The Tiger chant at the 18th is something I have never heard of before.

Seeing Tiger celebrating with his family made me think that this new Tiger enjoys more than golf in life.

I too enjoyed watching Tiger win today. The back nine was definitely exciting to watch with all the changes on the leaderboard, and great to see him win a Major again after all of his health issues. Did notice one thing this weekend that I never noticed before when watching Tiger. Does he always chew gum like that? That's all I kept noticing this weekend was how he chewed throughout the whole round. Wonder which gum company will come after him now for endorsement?

-Tiger didn't win it, the other guys lost it
-Smaller/weaker field compared to previous years
-Conditions were favourable to anybody to win, just look at leaderboard (ie. Fluke win)
-Mother nature helped him. She didn't rain down upon him.
-Changes in tee times favoure Tiger, because only he wakes up at 3:45am to prepare.
-Still 3 Majors behind Jack

You got your math right. Jack did call into the golf channel post round and said he was “shaking in his boots” when asked if he believed Tiger would break this record.

Real glad that we got to witness that today, and it’s great for the sport. A ton of guys were in it. Few aces. Another good Masters IMO.

Tiger made less mistakes today, and that was good enough to get it done, pulled a 3W a few times over the D. Executed when it mattered.
