In the mayakoba today carlos ortiz didnt finish 18, whilst his playing companions did. Who will sign his card tomorrow? Do they come back, or does the tour put a marker with him?

In the mayakoba today carlos ortiz didnt finish 18, whilst his playing companions did. Who will sign his card tomorrow? Do they come back, or does the tour put a marker with him?

Strange situation......

The player who had his card today will sign for the holes that he was the marker for; either he will come back tomorrow or the tour will assign someone for the 18th and that marker will sign for the 18th.

When a player on the PGA Tour is playing as a single if the cut is an odd number, the walking scorer is generally asked if he or she is comfortable being the marker in addition to entering the scores on the handheld.
