    VOA Classic

    The VOA Classic is the last regular event of the LPGA season. Next week is the US Women's Open followed by the CME Group Tour Championship.

    There is only one Canadian in the field, and it isn't Brooke or Alena.

    Well, Alena just got married and Brooke is probably preparing for the U.S. Open.
    Flying the Canadian flag by herself this week is 17-year-old amateur Tillie Claggett from Calgary (going to school in Texas) making her LPGA debut. She won the 2020 Texas Girls Match Play Championship to earn a spot in the field this week. She is a high school junior committed to Vanderbilt (2022).

    Good luck Tillie!!! How exciting this must be. I hope she does well.

    Was watching an interview yesterday and she seems so nice.
    If you think it's hard to meet new people, try picking up the wrong golf ball.

          The Koreans choke again.

          Ok...onto to Houston.
          Too bad Egg Head and Tim Cook's poster child (Crazy Lucy Li) and China's Last Hope (Muni He) didn't qualify to give the USWO more exposure.

          There more foreign players...mainly KLPGA and JLPGA players that qualified this year via Rolex rankings because regional and sectional USGA USWO qualifiers were cancelled due to Covid.
