Taylor Pendrith looking pretty good after time off for injury.

Currently T1 with last weeks winner Tony Finau at -8.

Lots of golf to play, but...... I'd be pretty happy with that start.

Is there any reason DL3 is playing this event? If he wants to play golf shouldn't the Champions Tour be the place for him?

He's using it to watch, scout, and talk with potential President's Cup team members.

While he's not exactly playing "great" I'd still kill for his swing....

He's also entered in next week's Wyndham

Hopefully Taylor Pendrith can have strong 3rd & 4th rounds, to follow up his great start.

He's doing okay so far (but Finau is doing even better).

He's 1 stroke back with 3 to go, and 2 ahead of Cam Young.

FWIW I've really enjoyed the commentary Colt Knost and Max Homa and Amanda. Good fun - we'll see if they can maintain it.

Taylor not going away. 4 birdies in the last 5 holes. His game compares very favourably to Finau's .

Could be a fun afternoon for the 2 of them. Hopefully they don't do what it appeared that Rory did in the Open; focus on only your playing partner and for get about the guys 4-5 shots back.

For sure. Course looks to be offering up a 63 for someone on Sunday so the leaders definitely can't think it's match play between them. Cam Young is going off at 10/1 and would be my dark horse

Taylor P finished second with 635K USD in earning. Apparently this should secure his card for next year and making the playoff.

Thanks for the easy money . . . I don't usually gamble on golf but I thought this was for Finau to lose . . . there wasn't much competition for him . . . I don't remember when the same person won 2 consecutive Tournament.
If you think it's hard to meet new people, try picking up the wrong golf ball.

Great tourney for Taylor. Nice to hear he secured his card for next year. The $635k isn't bad either.
