    Very true!

It's setting up to be a great weekend, we have some big names at the top, some a few shots back and a couple of Canucks in the mix!

Great start for Adam Hadwin and Nick Taylor.

They were right near the top of the leaderboard for most of the time, and may get there again as they still have a number of holes to play to finish their 2nd rounds.

Looks like just 1 WD for Saturday's 2nd round completion - Scott Piercy. He had 2 holes to play and 3 strokes above the cut line.

Cut line could move from +1 to Even Par as the +1s are T65. 5 guys still on the course at +1 (Streb, Fleetwood, Burns, Lee, Young) so if just one of them finish out under par (assuming the top 64 finish out par or better), the +1s will go home.

Connors and Pendrith are at Even right now. Can't afford to take a bogey this morning.

Finally, a strong field ! Majoresque even.

Nice leaderboard part way through....several of my favs that I'd like to see in the hunt come Sunday...including:

            Jday
            Rickie
            Rahmbo
            Xander

and my main man Rors made a move yesterday.

Hopefully one of these guys wins it....but Scottie Scheff is rolling right now

Pendrith safely in at even par and T55.
Connors has rebounded from a tough start and is in good shape too. -1 right now with a 23 foot putt which should at least give him a par. Then he's got a stroke to spare on his final hole. (touches wood)

Looks like the cut will be E and 66 players surviving. 11 groups of 3 off of both 1 and 10. They should be able to complete round 3 today and have a normal Sunday (if you consider anything about this tournament "normal" )

This event is SOOOOOO much fun , easily the best and most fun event of the season ( and the course isn't really that special )

More events need to bring this type of atmosphere.

It’s a fun event, but on 16 when the morons start throwing things on the free, they go too far.
Adam Hadwin hits it to 1.5 ft on 16, best shot of the day. Him and Nick Taylor remain tied for 3rd at minus 10 with a couple to play. It’s an exciting tournament.

update, Nick Taylor is now -11

Haven't watched all this week's coverage but haven't seen anything thrown on greens so far. Saw players throwing things into the stands.

there was a couple incidents in the past with aces, they've gone to plastic cups now which is smart. If an ace is made and a few plastic cups get tossed out of the stands...NBD....like hats for a hatty at a hockey game.

players interviewed have unanimously given this event over the top praise....they love it as much as the fans

Yep, it just sounds like your regular LIV event, the future of golf.

The 16th hole at TPC Scottsdale is always a party, but one fan might have taken it just a bit too far on Friday by streaking onto the green and dancing around the flagstick during the Waste Management Phoenix Open.
