Wow some money being tossed away at 17. Montgomery went from $1 mil to maybe $200k? Ouch.

Worst Sunday at the Players I can remember. No drama about who was going to win.

So when Tiger dominated nobody complained. But Scottie dominates and it’s boring.

10% of 4.7M for the caddie. Not too shabby.

Because Tiger was making history. If Scheffler keeps winning at this pace and chasing history, the attention will come.

While it is always nice for fans to have a close battle down the stretch , especially in a premiere event, I think we all had a pretty strong inkling that Scheffler was going to win this. ( there were no real established players within reach unless he had a collapse)

Despite the runaway win, We were able to witness a pretty spectacular final round by the winner in tough conditions. I believe they said that Scheffler was the only player who started in the top 10 to shoot in the 60's.

While not one of the guys I root for each week, Scheff is certainly a likeable and humble young man so happy to see him win.

Great point. People seem to love when Tiger was head and shoulders above the field but now it's boring?

I agree, he seems like a very likeable guy, easy to cheer for. I didn't realize he was so dominant as a junior ( almost Tiger like) and had a lot of success in college. No doubt those experiences helped prepare him for success as a pro.
