Yesterday was frustrating for Corey. No putts made and only one real mistake.

That was one major mistake.... still not sure what happened there. Unfortunately when the official forced him to drop near the slope of the bunker wall it only made matters worse.

I think he's better off going in today trailing by a stroke.... takes a bit of the pressure off.

Corey had one of the worst rounds on the day and certainly the worst round of anyone who entered the final day in contention.
Majors come with immense pressure, and you need everything to fall into place.

He's been close a few times now but Majors are tough to win, especially in today's game with so many good players in the field

I stand with what I posted about Conners back in the winter. He is a great ball striker but not yet a great PGAT pro regardless of his two wins in the Texas Valero Open which in my opinion is a second tier event based on the field and the course played.To me he looks like he is trying prevent a three putt rather than making the birdie. I hope in the future I am proven wrong because no one on Tour has a better swing.

yep. Koepka was a machine yesterday and no stopping him.

CC had a tough day at the office, but he's taking home $365k US - that's about $493 CAD.

As always, I prefer to focus on what he got rather than what he missed.

Working all your life to become a pro at something and you make $493 in one week? That's a success in my books, even if it could have been bigger.

I could probably do that for 26 weeks a year and keep a smile on my face....

During third round post interview CC said he just wanted to have fun. If it was a regular tournament, sure, but at a major and you're in contention, you have to want to WIN. It's all business. That's why Keopka won

He suffers what all the Canucks suffer with - They seemingly weren't taught how to putt effectively under pressure. Men/women they all seem to suffer the flatstick blues...

'CC's putting performance at the President's Cup was almost downright yippy.

Sadly, as soon as he gets into a heated situation, this will continue until he takes it seriously and gets a great putting coach.
