Given the loss of life, loss of homes and businesses throughout the south east, I have to say I could care less about what might have happened to that golf course or any other golf course. And this from a guy that absolutely loves the Masters! The members are among the richest people on the planet. I'm sure any damage will be completely repaired by April.
Now, here's hoping the rest of the victims of this catastrophic event can rebuild their homes and businesses as quickly.

I too love the Masters, but there's a whole lot of people that have suffered huge losses and tragedies from this storm, and that's the real problem. It would certainly be a shame if ANGC was destroyed but..... it's just a golf course and can be rebuilt."Confusion" will be my epitaph

Even their chairman man Fred Ridley's statement recognized that it would be bad PR if they talk about themselves:
“Our Augusta community has suffered catastrophic and historic impact from Hurricane Helene. We currently are assessing the effects at Augusta National Golf Club.
In the meantime, our focus and efforts are foremost with our staff, neighbors and business owners in Augusta. Our thoughts and prayers are with them as well as everyone throughout Georgia and the Southeast who have been affected.”
