Read some reviews and saying it is not very durable.
I've played with a few boxes of these balls and the other similarly priced Callaway balls. They play well, but the exterior cover gets scuffed way too easily. In some cases, I find that a ball is messed up even after a single hole. I usually just rip the loose pieces off, but it defeats the purpose of trying to play with a consistent ball. I've read similar reviews stating the same issue - I'm not sure if it's the way I'm hitting the ball (I hit it pretty high), but don't have the same issue with other balls.
you will feel heavy weights when you hit on sweet spot.
they are very playable and controllable near or on the green.
but I remember it was sold at $35 for 2 dozen in GT.
I took advantage of the 3/$50 deal, as I was looking for some thing to replace the Supersofts I'd been using for the last 2 years. Yesterday, as I was looking in some long grass for one of my last Supersofts, I found a solo hexbite instead, I've never been so thankful to lose a ball in my life, as I got a chance to try out the hexbite before breaking open a box. They didn' exactly live up to their name or me, as I found them to me incredibly hard, and had no green grab at all. My 3 for $50 deal will go going back to Golftown as soon as I can.
i'm a prov playa playa... i tried these out, they're fine, awesome price, can't go wrong, true... the spin isn't like prov or high end balls, but they're good enough to check up on soft greens, they tend to scuff easier than cheap distance balls, but probably because of the softer cover that spins better on approach and chip shots. price is a steal.
