The original 4 piece was every bit as good, but this 3 piece ball is not even remotely close to that.

that said a good price for a budget and average ball

What does the 3 piece compare to?

Saw the golf balls on sale at the Costco laird location this weekend. Right near the front of the store when you walk in

Yes now available in store for $29.99. Okay ball. Not the most durable but very playable and a great price.

This may take this thread off-topic, but at this price, and with less than stellar reviews, there appear to be many options available with better products at this price-point. The Sportsyard TM TP5X PRACTICE balls at the price Paul is selling them offers way better quality and value, and there are and will be sales on premium $50+/dz balls where we get down to this pricing. Srixon's annual 2 for one is a case in point - we all bragged about getting them at $25/dz. I fail to see the continued interest in Kirkland, especially after the recent marketing disaster they had with the 4-pc balls in their U.S. locations where customers were credited back after purchasing what appears to be defective product.
                        No good deed goes unpunished.

                          DON'T BUY IT.
I have been Costco member more than 2 decades, this is the worst Kirkland product that I have ever faced.
Obviously, I can't play real golf since this Nov. and I only practice putting on my putting green less than 20 times.
                          But look at this ball.
This is the worst ball and I have to return it.
                          It is useless.

Saw a ton of the 3 piece Kirkland balls at the Burlington Costco today.

These new balls are garbage. My friend bought a bunch at the end of the season from the states. The first hit with my driver I cracked the ball. After the round we looked it up and there seemed to be an issue with the manufacturer and this was happening to everyone. My friend got a credit back to his card and they said to keep the balls.
