  • Anyone in GTA can regrip a putter with a tourlock?

    Hi,

I apologize if this is the wrong place for this thread, Mods feel free to delete.

I am looking for a GTA fitter/builder who can do a regrip on my putter. I have a tourlock installed but want to change the grip on it. I have the grip that I want already, just need the labour. Some archived threads here say that some Golftowns will have the grip modifier and know how to work with a tourlock but I wanted some other options.

    Thanks,

if you have the Allan key for the tourlock remove the assembly.
Cut off the grip and discard. Then grind/file down the edges of the tour-lock aluminum end-cap so its diam. is flush with the outside shaft diam. All it requires to seat is the edge of the shaft to sit on.

I've done this several times in order to facilitate any and all my grip changes for the future
All my driver tourlock inserts are invisible.

Thanks for the tip. Do you then put the grip right on top of the tourlock?

yes it will easily slip over, with a good push. The air will escape forward towards the mouth of the grip same as when you blow a grip on with an airgun.
make sure it seats down solidly on the tourlock.
